ClassTools.net is a web-based educational productivity tool which offers a wide variety of resources such as quizzes, games and timelines.  One feature is called Fakebook where students can create Facebook type accounts for historical figures.  As part of Creative Commons, this is offered free of charge with an option to subscribe if you want more features.  This site is very user friendly and there is no email or registration required.  There are a number of tools offered including templates that can be saved to their server for up to 12 months.  Teachers can create interactive games and activities to motivate student engagement and interest.

This website allows anyone to create flashcards for any subject.  Once the vocabulary is entered, students can play games and take tests.  I love the pronunciation feature as it is excellent for learning in a world language class. This site also provides a free mobile app that allows students to study vocabulary on the go!

This presentational tool is a great way to hold students’ interest especially with the 3D feature.  It is much more creative than Power Point and it is web-based so it is accessible anywhere.  There is no fee for this tool.

Subscription based E-Learning Tools:

This web-based site is an excellent tool where students can practice conjugating verbs in every tense.  Not only do I create verb practice activities, but I can create quizzes and other grammar/ vocabulary activities.  Teachers can set up a gradebook which automatically records scores. It is very affordable and they ask for a payment of $25.00 per school with an additional $5.00 for each teacher who uses it.  I have used this web-based tool for many years.

I have used this web-based tool for years to create differentiated activities and quizzes.  In addition, I can create surveys and use the data to survey student activity and performance. I can upload video and audio very easily to test listening skills.  This tool costs 49.00 per year, but I think it is worth a lot more.
