Navigate 3.1.2 Creation and Investigation into Courses

Using Canvas was much easier than I expected! It was simply a matter of downloading the zip file, creating the class and locating the zip file in the download folder in order to import it into the course.

These are the steps I took in creating a course shell:

• Previewed the course content for “Introduction to Digital Citizenship”
• Downloaded the zip file for the “Introduction to Digital Citizenship”
• Chose the Canvas LMS to create a course
• Clicked on “Start a New Course”

• Named the course “Introduction to Digital Citizenship”
• Checked course publically visible
• Unzipped file into folder
